One of Banbridge town’s key advantages is its excellent location, just 25
miles from Belfast. Strategically located on the Eastern Sea Board Corridor the A1/M1 route stretches from Belfast to Dublin and beyond, to Rosslare. This road carries large volumes of traffic past the town, and the importance of these travellers to the economy of the town is reflected in the future planning.

A1/M1, with Dublin airport less than two hours away.

Two major new developments are planned for the future, near to the town, Bridgewater Park and Gilford Mill. These will potentially result in a large influx of new visitors to the town centre.
